The SunTrust National Marathon and
Half Marathon theme is “In Washington, everyone
is running for something”. NBC4, as one of the
race sponsors, is profiling some of the runners.
Tomorrow (March 25th) they will
do a story on RunHer Elizabeth Ottaway and how she is
running the marathon for the 2nd time in memory of her
son Alexander and the wonderful people who cared for
him at Children’s Hospital. She was joined for
part of the taping by fellow RunHers: Heather Garvey,
Suzy Leous, Therese Murtagh and Hillary Schaeffler.
The story is going to be aired during
the 5pm newscast. If you miss it then, you can watch
